(December 3, 2018) At this year’s STEP AWARD 2018, NanoWired GmbH prevailed on 3 December against the competition and secured the industry prize in the field of science. The specialist publisher of F.A.Z. (Frankfurt Business Media GmbH) awards this prize for the thirteenth time. The award recognizes innovative and high-growth companies in the fields of technology, science and IT.
(November 1, 2018) NanoWired launches the Horizon 2020 project NanoWelds. The 2-year project serves to further develop the prototype NanoWiring machine into a production-ready system. The automatic electrolyte management, permanently installed production recipes and a user-friendly interface ensure consistently good production results.
Also this year you will find us from 05. 06 to 07. 06. 2018 at SMT Hybrid Packaging, Europe’s leading event for system integration in microelectronics.
Be there when the industry meets. At the SMT you will see innovative products, future trends and will receive a wide range of
Service offers. In addition, discuss new ways of solving problems, from the idea to the development to
to the production of electronic assemblies.
Come by and convince yourself of the advantages of the KlettWelding process.
You will find us at booth 5-427. We are looking forward to seeing you.
(26 June 2017) The NanoWired project is one of the 100 innovative prizewinners of the 2017 competition “Excellent Landmarks in the Land of Ideas”; in keeping with the annual motto “Think Openly – So Can Develop New Things”; , the project shows how pioneering innovation can emerge through the joy of experimentation, curiosity and the courage to rethink. The initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas” and Deutsche Bank A top-class jury selected NanoWired from around 1,000 submitted applications.
The “Hessen Ideen” competition, which was launched in 2016 for university founding ideas, is aimed at start-up university members who are still at the very beginning of their idea for a company, as well as companies that have already been founded. A total of 24 ideas, up to three per university, were nominated for the competition by the ten participating Hessian universities. Two reviewers evaluated the content of the submitted ideas. From the ten best rated ideas a jury determined the three winners. The jury of the Hessian Ideas Competition decided to award a special prize in cooperation with SMA Solar Technology AG to Team Nanowired. NanoWired will be invited to a technology exchange.
128 founding teams from all over Germany, Austria and Luxembourg took part in the Science4Life Venture Cup 2016. The 58 submitted business plans reflect a wide variety of innovations. A wealth of ideas were founders in the fields of medical technology, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry and green technology.
The Darmstadt-based team NanoWired has developed a nano velcro closure with a clever coating technology, with which microchips are connected by simple compression. Conventional soldering processes, which burden the sensitive components due to the heat, are eliminated. For example, in the semiconductor industry, higher quality material, energy, costs and by miniaturization can also be saved space. In addition, no harmful heavy metals must be used.ünderteams aus ganz Deutschland, Österreich und Luxemburg nahmen am Science4Life Venture Cup 2016 teil.
Winning team NanoWired has carefully considered the next steps for its young company: “We participated in the concept and business plan phase of the Science4Life Venture Cup. Meanwhile, we have received much positive customer feedback, which has dictated our focus. In addition, we were able to gain our first customers from the semiconductor industry and thus further develop the process and technology. We receive an EXIST research transfer promotion and are in talks with investors. The profit is a confirmation of our business model. Our goal is to start in the near future and complete another round of financing as quickly as possible to meet the high demand. Science4Life has brought us a lot of support from experienced experts and coaches. The dedication and dedication of the coaches were impressive – professionalism combined with a great familial working atmosphere.
